Little Brother
Emma: "Can I hold the baby?" She then proceeds to extricate (not gently) his hands and feet from his little outfits so she can inspect them. "I really like his fingers, they are very expensive, so I shouldn't break them."
Sam: "I hold baby too. No bite, baby, no bite."
I wasn't quite sure what sam was saying, was he concerned that he would bite the baby (he isn't a biter)? Today, Lily (our nanny) figured it out, when sam holds the baby he uses the boppy pillow, he sees me breastfeeding the baby with the same pillow and must think the baby is biting me!

New pictures
So far little Logan is an easy baby, he eats, sleeps, poops and is generally very quiet. He is only 6 days old, so we'll see.. Emma and Sam seem to enjoy him, they both want to be little helpers and do "by myself". That is a bit challenging. Otherwise, we are adjusting well to our new family of five.

Echos
Emma and I were outside today when she discovered that if her voice was loud enough, it would echo. This is how it went:
Emma "HELLO, AHHH, AHHH" very loudly.
Me: Emma, keep your voice down, Sam is asleep.
Emma: "I am yelling because there is a girl answering me in a strange voice, saying what I am saying. She is making me very nervous."

Best buddies
I know this sounds kind of crazy, but I had my first real rewarding moment as a parent yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I love my kids and love being a mom, but we're still in the let's just make sure everyone is alive at the end of the day stage. Having said that, we were at an indoor bounce around park and they had a fantastic time together. True friends, no fighting, Sam followed Emma around and they went up every slide together, she didn't want to do anything without him. It was really nice.
