Some funny comments on the arrival of our fourth baby:
Emma's response to the name Harper:
"Daddy, that is NOT a very good name."
In fact, she could not remember it, so when we picked her up from school that week we were greeted by a teacher who said, "Congratulations on the baby, but we are confused as to the name, Emma has been calling her Hyper and then changed it to harley today, is it Hyper or Harley?."
One more time on the name from Emma:
"Mommy the new baby's name is HARper, not Hyper, HARper is a very difficult name to say."
Emma: "Does the new baby have a tongue yet?"
Sam: "Mommy, do you have another baby in your tummy because your tummy is still really really big."
Logan on breastfeeding, "me turn, me turn" with his tongue out ready to latch on!!
I promised Emma a playdate with her friend Maddie once the baby was born, well on the night we went to the hospital to have the baby, I was emotional and it was hard saying good bye to the kids. When I told emma we were leaving she said, "Oh good, can I have a playdate with Maddie tomorrow?"

preparing for #4
Yesterday, Emma was outside with the boys, helping Logan climb onto the play gym and she came over to me with this exhusted look and said, "When the new baby gets here am I going to have to take care of Logan AND the new baby, because that is going to be a lot of work!"
