Jenny's Birthday, Easter

Teaching Sammy his ABC's

Unlike Emma at age 3, who knew all of her letters, I believe Sam does not know one. So, we sat down one day and tried to teach him. This is how it went:

Me: "Emma, write down a letter and Sammy will guess which one it is."

Emma carefully writes a letter 'A'

Me: "Sammy, what letter is this?"

Sam: "It's a boat."

Emma: "no, it's an A"

Sam: "NO EMMA ITS A BOAT!!!"

Oh boy, I think I may just save the alphabet for his kindergarten teacher...
