Kindergarten projects
So, it has begun - the creative projects for school. Since I have zero artistic and/or creative ability, I was in a bit of a panic when the "family project" came home - to disguise a turkey as something so he won't get eaten for Thanksgiving. Emma wanted to do a ballerina. Hmm...a turkey ballerina, I had no idea how to go about this. Thankfully, she is very independent and did not want my help. However, I realized that I needed to provide a bit of guidance, so I googled "turkey ballerina" on the internet and lo and behold, some other kindergartener out there did this project and her very creative mom posted it! I was in luck. So, we printed out our "model" and Emma tried to duplicate it. I don't think in the end they looked very similar so I think we're off the hook for plagarism...
